The Walton County School District is pleased to announce its 2023-24 STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) Students and Teachers.

Loganville High School

Walnut Grove High School

"I congratulate Ian, Geetangeli, and Braylon, as well as their commendable teachers, for achieving this well-deserved honor," said Superintendent Nathan Franklin. "This academic accomplishment reflects their unwavering hard work and determination, and I commend them for their remarkable efforts. Additionally, I express my sincere appreciation for the profound influence of their STAR Teachers, who have made lasting impacts on their educational journeys."

The PAGE STAR program honors Georgia's highest-achieving high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. To obtain the STAR nomination, high school seniors must have the highest score on any single SAT and be in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average. STAR Teachers are selected by the STAR Student.
